2.5 Admission Status
Each new student admitted is on new-student-probation for his/her initial new weeks. During this nine-week period, the teacher and administrator will evaluate the student’s social, academic, physical and emotional fitness with the rest of the class and student body. At the conclusion of the nine weeks, the student attains regular enrollment status unless otherwise notified.
2.6 Students with Special Needs
At this present time, CVAS is not equipped with the resources and/or staff to properly provide for students with special needs. While our teachers are open to discussing how we can best help, it is sometimes in the child’s best interest to be enrolled and learn in a more one-to-one, structured educational environment that is geared for instruction of students with special needs. Some families may be eligible to receive help from federally funded, certified teachers, while still receiving the benefits of a Christian education at CVAS. Please talk with the principal
2.7 Withdrawal Process
Families finding it necessary to withdraw their child from the school must follow these procedures.
· A conference with the principal.
· Complete withdrawal information for the office.
· Return all textbooks and school materials
· Pay all outstanding accounts. Tuition is charged for the actual number of days enrolled and will continue until these procedures are completed. |
